Perched upon the cliffs, in the heart of the village, you can’t really miss the Norman Castle. The Castle occupies a commanding position overlooking the beautiful Manorbier Beach with the village nestled behind. Steeped in history and folklore this Norman gem has many secrets to discover.
The fairytale turrets, great hall, chapel and landscaped gardens (designed by Daphne Shackleton one of Ireland’s foremost plants women) offer the perfect place to soak up the wonderful atmosphere.
Tour the castle and gardens before having a well-earned break at the café. If you really get caught up in the romance, the castle is also available for weddings.

A Halloween Mystery Awaits… 🎃
Dark whispers tell of a witch who once roamed the castle, brewing potions by moonlight. But her recipe has been lost… until now.
This half term, follow the Witches’ Potion Trail and uncover the secret ingredients hidden around the castle walls. Piece them together, finish her potion, and claim your magical reward!
